Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) and MTS Systems Corporation announced to establish an Aerospace Structural Strength Testing Demo Site at SJTU in Shanghai.

Under this collaboration, SJTU’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics will use MTS’ advanced structural testing technologies for aerospace structural strength testing and various other R&D activities.

Dr. Wang Hai, the Associate Dean and the Professor of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at SJTU, expressed his confidence in the collaboration: “We firmly believe that the establishment of this demonstration center will take Shanghai Jiaotong University’s research capabilities to new heights.”

Through the advanced applications, the University plans to continue to uphold its reputation as a research leader in the Chinese aerospace industry.
