How to apply

The experience of applying for scholarship, including how to obtain the information, the types of scholarships, application method, how to prepare the materials, how to receive scholarships .

Firstly make sure of the Universities you want to study have scholarship. Then through the website like Chinese Baidu (http://www.baidu.com) find their website. When open the University site, it doesn’t matter how is your Chinese language, at school site’s upper right corner you can change the language familiar to you for easy operations. Find out there the Scholarship enrollment information and another conditions for foreign students. Some Universities require you to make online application process, and some require you to fill out an application form for sending.

I had filled out the application form: download the application form from the University’s site, go to fill out personal information and make sure in it’s correct, then print out it. In addition to the application form, you have to prepare the copying form of the bachelor degree college’s or university’s graduation certificate, the copying form of the academic records blank, two recommendation letters from professors, your own study plan and a personal statement, a copying form of the passport, two 2-inch photos, the copying form of HSK test (or TOEFL test) scores, the copying form of the certificates of honor you get when studying bachelor degree.
Notes:

The Personal statement text gives you a chance to say something about yourself and to make a positive impression on the admissions tutors.
The person reading your application form will want to know in what ways you ‘connect’ with the course, and they will be looking for students who can articulate their aims and have the potential to succeed. For these reasons your statement should be informative, interesting and written to the highest standards possible.
The study plan mainly includes: study background (the current research condition and level of the study subject at home and abroad); the purpose of studying abroad, the anticipated objective, the plan, the method of implementation and the time needed; the feasibility of attaining the anticipated objective (combining it with the professional technology and knowledge that you have mastered ); the foreign country and the academic institution that you have chosen, and the reasons (simply narrate the advantages and level of the academic institution abroad, and if there are cooperation foundations and contacts between your present institution and the institution abroad. If there is an offer, add a copy); the study (working) plan in China after finishing the study abroad.
